Problem Solving

A good truck dispatcher does a lot more than make sure that goods get from point A to point B. Because things can go wrong, dispatchers have to become expert problem solves. Whether, traffic, road closures, and mechanical breakdowns can interfere with freight from getting where it’s supposed to go. And when problems happen, dispatchers need to be able to come up with solutions to ensure that customers get the proper service.

Speciality Skills

Of course, truck dispatchers need more than just soft skills to succeed. They also need speciality hard skills such as switchboard operation, materials handling safety,inventory management, and specialized radio language.
